Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This Privacy Policy covers every game by IJ Code Labs (Arrow Escape and Little Diggers for iPhone, and Ashen Worlds for iPhone, iPad and Android, together the "Apps") and the website games.ijcodelabs.com (the "Website"). In short: our Apps do not collect any personal data, apart from a random ID that the optional online play in Arrow Escape and Ashen Worlds needs (see below).

Who we are

The Apps and Website are provided by Igor Jukic, trading as IJ Code Labs ("we", "us"). You can contact us at ijcodelabs@gmail.com.

Information the Apps collect

None, except for the optional online play in Arrow Escape and Ashen Worlds described below. Apart from that The Apps do not collect, store on our servers, or share any personal data. Specifically, the Apps:

Information stored on your device

To work properly, each App saves a small amount of game progress locally on your device:

Apart from what online play needs (see below), this information never leaves your device through the Apps and is deleted when you delete the App.

In-app purchases

On iPhone and iPad, purchases (Arrow Escape Plus, Little Diggers Plus and Ashen Worlds Full Game) are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple confirms to the App whether a purchase has been made with your Apple Account so it can be unlocked and restored. Apple's handling of your data is described in the Apple Privacy Policy.

On Android, purchases (Ashen Worlds Full Game) are processed entirely by Google through Google Play. Google confirms to the App whether a purchase has been made with your Google Account so it can be unlocked and restored. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

In both cases we never receive your name, email address or payment details, and Apple and Google provide us only with sales reports that do not include your name or contact details.

If you choose to share app analytics with developers in your iPhone or iPad settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous usage and crash statistics. You can change this at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements. On Android, if you allow your device to share usage and diagnostics, Google Play may provide us with aggregated crash and performance statistics that do not identify you.

Online play (Arrow Escape)

Arrow Escape's optional online duels (free for everyone on iPhone and Mac) run on our own game server, reached at games.ijcodelabs.com. The first time you play online, the App creates a random ID on your device and keeps it in the App's storage. It is not a hardware, advertising or account identifier, and it is not linked to your name, email address or Apple Account. The App uses it to sign in to the server, which stores the ID together with a randomly generated username so it can recognise your device and match you with an opponent. In duels you appear under a generated callsign (for example "Comet-42"), which is sent only to your opponent during the duel and is not stored on the server. Your moves pass through the server to your opponent during the duel and are not stored. Like any internet service, the server sees your IP address when you connect and may record it in its logs, which we use only to keep the service running and secure, not to identify or profile you. Nothing from online play is used for advertising, analytics or tracking, or shared with anyone else. Deleting the App removes the ID from your device, after which the server record can no longer be connected to you. To have it deleted from the server as well, email ijcodelabs@gmail.com with the callsign shown on the Online duel screen; because the ID is random, we can't otherwise link it to you.

Online play (Ashen Worlds)

Ashen Worlds' optional 1v1 online mode (part of the Full Game on iPhone, iPad and Android) runs on our own game server, reached at games.ijcodelabs.com. The first time you play online, the App creates a random ID on your device and keeps it in the App's storage. It is not a hardware, advertising or account identifier, and it is not linked to your name, email address, Apple Account or Google Account. The App uses it to sign in to the server, which stores the ID together with a randomly generated username so it can recognise your device and match you with an opponent. In matches you appear under a generated callsign (for example "Ember-42"), which is sent only to your opponent during the match and is not stored on the server. Your game commands pass through the server to your opponent during the match and are not stored. To have it deleted from the server as well, email ijcodelabs@gmail.com with the callsign shown on the 1V1 ONLINE screen; because the ID is random, we can't otherwise link it to you.

The Website

The Website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking. Like most web servers, our hosting may briefly process technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the service secure. This information is not used to identify or profile you.

Contacting us

If you email us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and delete the conversation when it is no longer needed.

Children

The Apps are suitable for all ages. Because they do not collect personal data (online play uses only a random ID and a generated callsign, never a name or contact details), they do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Apart from the random online play ID described above, the Apps do not collect personal data, so there is normally nothing for us to provide. If you have contacted us by email and want that correspondence deleted, or have any other privacy question, email ijcodelabs@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If the way any App handles data changes, for example if new features are added, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
